Dr. McCue's Magical Night-Night Tea

A cook's pinch (three-fingered pinch) of good shake (trimmings)
1/2 cup of whole milk (or any type of nondairy milk with at least 3% fat)*

Stir the trimmings into the milk in a small sauce pan. Heat on low simmer for 10-15 minutes to "activate" the cannabinoids (i.e., decarboxylate). Do not boil.

While heating the milk, boil some water for tea. Add a teabag of decafinated chai or mint tea (or whatever pleases you) to a mug. Pour the milk and shake into the mug -- do not strain. Add boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes.

Stir in a teaspoon of honey (optional, but it tastes right good). Remove the tea bag, but eat the trimmings as you drink the tea – they taste good, and will still have some cannabinoids on them.

Get a magazine, go to bed, enjoy your tea, and you will doze off in about 20 minutes. Do not operate heavy equipment. Or operate on people, if you are a doctor.

*The impatient can just stir some CoffeeMate or a similar chemical concoction into the steeping tea. It is a great chemical fat emulsifier and will bring the cannabionoids, which are fats that are insoluble in water, into solution, so they can be absorbed. But I am not responsible for the resulting taste...
